Dr. Stevens is the founder and owner of Happy Valley Wellness and Acupuncture, LLC and currently lives in State College. She is originally from Northeast Ohio. Dr. Stevens earned a BS in Biochemistry from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and an MS in Biomedical Sciences from Barry Univeristy in Miami, Florida. She graduated medical school from Touro Univeristy College of Osteopathic Medicine outside of San Francisco, California and completed her residency in Family Medicine with UPMC St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Stevens is also a graduate of the Harvard Medical School Acupuncture for Physicians program. She is board certified by both the Allopathic (MD) and Osteopathic (DO) Family Medicine boards (ABFM and ACOFP), as well as the Integrative Medicine board (ABIHM), and carries licenses to practice both medicine and acupuncture in the state of Pennsylvania. She currently practices medicine as a Hospitalist for Mount Nittany Physician Group.
